Unlike most truck shocks on the market, which are basic twin tube designs, the HV2000 is a montube design with a side chamber /reservoir.  The reservoir is factory set with 50psi of air/gas pressure and can be adjusted to as low as 20psi or a high as 120psi via a simple Schrader valve fitting.  This enables the user to adjust the rebound characteristics of the shock absorber to suit variable road conditions and loads.  In addition to this, HV2000 rear shock absorbers can be connected via the reservoir to a vehicle’s air bag suspension, enabling the shocks to automatically adjust and sync with the vehicle’s airbag’s pressure.  This unique feature is particularly beneficial when undertaking loaded and unloaded trips, as the shock absorbers adjust with the airbags to suit specific weights, improving the vehicles handling and ride characteristics.

As well as being adjustable, the HV2000 is made from high quality materials and has a number of additional features setting it aside from a common truck shock absorber. The 25mm diameter hardened shaft is the largest on the market, helping to ensure a robust and long-life product. The shock has segregated compression and rebound chambers and a hydraulic safety lock out, ensuring no metal to metal contact when the shocks are fully extended.  The HV2000’s patented piston valve allows zero aeration and consistent oil flow from the moment a vehicle is driven until the very end of a trip.
